Our core philosophy: We specialize in a step-by-step approach to art education, helping artists of all levels reach their full potential. Build skills and knowledge progressively, starting with drawing and moving into painting.

Our Program helps all artists to reach higher levels in art. Gain skills and knowledge to succeed by building on each concept taught. Starting with Drawing and then eventually Painting. You progress and move at Your Pace, One Step At A Time. This class is the core reason Chris’ classes have been in such high demand for nearly 30 years.
Designed for all levels but the Beginners Are My Favorite! All you need is desire to learn. The program is set up with a series of exercises-each explaining What, Where, Why, and How an artist is to use the specific “Art Principle,” we call “Art Tools Not Rules”.
There is a mixture of drawing and painting artist levels in each class. Allowing for the beginning drawing students to hear the advanced painting exercises and the advanced students to hear the beginning exercises reminding each student what they have learned or will learn.

Daily Drawing & Oil Painting
Develop your artistic foundation in our popular drawing & painting classes. Exercises cover how, what, why, and where concepts are applied to your art.

Prerequisite: Drawing is recommended before painting, as concepts learned in drawing will enhance your painting skills.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday, 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM & Tuesday & Wednesday 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Cost: $125/month (4 classes) – choose one day/week. Makeup classes available (see policy below).

Makeup Policy: Use makeup classes within the same month; carry over if continuing enrollment.
Specialty Classes
Develop your artistic foundation in our popular drawing & painting classes. Exercises cover how, what, why, and where concepts are applied to your art.

Schedule: Color Theory: Tuesday, 3:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Open Studio: Wednesday 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Makeup Policy: Use makeup classes within the same month; carry over if continuing enrollment.
Kids Classes
Fun and engaging art classes for kids, based on the same principles as our adult program. Students will explore graphite, charcoal, watercolor, pastel, and acrylic paint.

Schedule: 8-11 year olds: 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM, 11-15 year olds: 12:15 PM - 1:45 PM

Cost: $30/visit or $160 for 6 classes.

Note: No classes on the last Saturday of each month.
