Two major approaches to art today we teach A Classical Approach and a Direct Approach. A Classical Approach teaches TouchPoint Drawing by proportionally measuring from a photograph or from life to develop the artist eye and touch, also understanding the cause and effect of art principles. Direct Approach is seeing shapes and values and blocking them in without pre-drawing. There are unique benefits of each approach.
